About the Questionaire (or go straight to test with link at left).
Our test, put together through years of analysis, is open to everyone and free of charge.
Our quiz is all online and shouldnt take more than a few minutes to take, and is based on years of research on personality type.
We think youll find that the accuracy of our personality test version (the Famous Type free MBTI test) is nearly unmatched among the various personality tests available that are free.
So go ahead and take our indicator: we think you’ll be at what the results say about YOU.
There are four parts to this questionnaire - one for each of the 4 preferences:
Test 1: E / I (Extravert / Introvert)
Test 2: N / S (iNtuitive / Sensing)
Test 3: T / F (Thinking / Feeling)
Test 4: J / P (Judging / Perceiving)
When you take each test, read the questions carefully and be sure to take note of words like “typically” or “often.” However, do not over-think your responses. You know yourself; typically the initial gut response is the correct one.
At the end of each test, your results are compiled, and you are assigned a letter from the corresponding pair of preferences above...
Be sure to keep track of your letter score :-)
(E or I, N or S, T or F, J or P).
...At the end the program puts them together - this 4-letter combination will be your Myers-Briggs personality type.
Note: If your answers are sufficiently divided on a given test, no letter will be assigned to you as a result. In this case you are somewhere in the middle of two types, and can refer to the profiles for each. For instance, if you have an E, N, and T for the first three tests but receive no result for Test 4, you can consult the profiles for both ENTJ and ENTP types.
If this is your first time taking a Myers-Briggs test and you end up with a type that doesn’t seem to be correct, your assumption could very well be correct. These tests are never correct 100% of the time. If this happens you can take the test again, take other tests and questionnaires, and read up on the different personality types and expanding theories. Learn as much as you can, and you should end up with a strong idea as to what your type is.
